Client Dashboard
One place for every project I work on with you, and the tool I use to look after your search and ads.
What it is
Every Blackweb Studio client gets a private login to the client dashboard. It is part of this website and is only for people working with the studio. There is nothing to buy or install.
What clients see
- Each project’s progress, tasks and updates.
- Files we share both ways, and signed agreements.
- Invoices, payments and plans.
- Blog drafts written for their site, to approve or comment on.
- A place to leave a review when the work is done.
The reporting tool
Inside the dashboard is a reporting tool that only Blackweb Studio uses, for clients who have hired the studio to look after their website and marketing. It brings each client’s numbers into one place so I can see how their site and ads are doing and what to improve next.
With the client’s permission, and only for accounts they have shared with the studio, it reads:
- Google Analytics: visits and conversions on their website.
- Google Search Console: the searches their site shows up for, clicks and positions.
- Google Ads and Keyword Planner: campaign, keyword and search-term performance, budgets and keyword ideas.
- Google Business Profile: profile views, calls, direction requests and reviews.
From that it shows reports, points out opportunities (searches just off the first page, ad spend with no results, pages losing traffic) and drafts suggestions such as blog post ideas, ad text and replies to reviews. I check every suggestion before it is used.
Access is read-only. The tool never creates, changes or pauses a campaign, budget, business profile or site setting; any change is made by a person in Google’s own tools. It works with text and figures only and does not create or edit images of people.
Your data
Each client’s data is used only for that client’s work, never sold and never used for advertising. How it is stored, shared and deleted is set out in the privacy policy, and use of the site is covered by the terms. A client can remove the studio’s access to their Google accounts at any time.
